A privately owned company, Atruent has more than 20 years of experience in information technology. Based outside of Baltimore, we pride ourselves on providing trusted and reliable local service in an effort to bolster your company’s efforts. Behind each computer screen is a person, and it’s because of this we still put value in face-to-face relationships, a personal touch, and connecting with our clients.


We chose the motto, “True Enterprise Level Solutions,” because it speaks to the conviction and consistency we instill in each job. Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., we guarantee no more than an hour response time. After-hours and weekends, we’re always on-call and a phone call or email away, whatever time zone you may be in. Let us focus on your IT needs so you can focus on your business.

Aida Keehner’s Journey

Aida Keehner grew up in France before moving to Tunisia in North Africa. In 2000, she moved to the United States. Her career in IT started by building wonderful relationships with clients (some of which are still with her today!), either onsite or over the phone. The natural evolution for Mrs. Keehner was to form Atruent (formerly About Computing and Consulting) in 2009, building the company on a solid reputation and a passion for IT. She surrounds herself with a seasoned and professional team, continuing to work diligently toward keeping trust with and optimizing technology for each client.

Atruent holds certifications in Microsoft and VMware.

Aida Keehner

Senior IT Consultant & CEO

Aida Keehner started Atruent in 2009. Mrs. Keehner previously held the positions of IT Services Sales Manager at eResources, Network Engineer and Applications Specialist for Computerized Management Systems, Inc., and Systems Administrator with Ecumed Petroleum Tunisia, Ltd.

She holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology Applied to Management from Institut Superieur de Gestion, and speaks English, French, and Arabic.

Ronald Lee

Ronald Lee

Managed Information Systems Manager

Ronald Lee joined Atruent in June 2011. Previously, Mr. Lee held the positions of Bench Technician for 1st Quality Electronics and IT Consultant for eResources.

He holds a technical degree in Electronics from TESST College of Technology (formerly RETS Technical Training Center), as well as a certification in Microsoft.

Christopher Adams

Christopher Adams

Data Center Manager

Christopher Adams joined Atruent in December 2011. Mr. Adams previously held the positions of IT Manager with Advance Computer Repair of Baltimore, Estimation Technician for Maxwell Systems, Hospital IT Tech at LifeBridge Health, Customer Account Executive with Comcast, Field Technician for Chevy Chase Bank, and Field Technician at Unisys.

He earned a Personal Computer Support Technician diploma from Lincoln Technical Institute.

Froilan Mate

Froilan Mate

IT Consultant

Froilan Mate joined Atruent in 2015. Previously, Mr. Mate held the position of Systems Analyst for Prometric. He holds a Master of Science degree from Towson University in information systems. Mr. Mate speaks Tagalog.

Jordon Kurtz

Help Desk Technician

Jordon Kurtz joined Atruent in March 2017. He has not had formal training in the IT world, but has personal experience in building and managing computers and software. All his self taught knowledge along with the on-the-job training will make him a great new addition to the team!

Nicholas Bradford

Nicholas Bradford

Office Manager/Customer Service

Nicholas Bradford joined Atruent in April of 2017. He has previously worked in the field of Healthcare along with Admin positions.  Nicholas speaks’  English, German and French.  His passion for technology and expertise in Administration is a great addition to the Atruent team!
